Job description
Data & Credit Risk Consultant — Regulatory Remediation
Temporary contract · until end of February (option to extend) · 36 hours
The organisation
You'll be working for one of the largest banks in the Netherlands — an institution in the middle of the regulatory transition that's currently occupying the entire sector. Basel IV/CRR3 rewriting the capital rules, a migration to the nCino platform, and a mountain of data quality that needs to be in order before the regulator comes looking. Within the bank you'll join the SDR domain, the team responsible for remediation and aftercare on credit risk and collateral data. The intersection where data, regulation and risk meet — and where an error in a data model translates directly into the reporting that goes to the regulator.
You'll take over from a consultant transitioning off the project, stepping into a key role within the SDR team on the regulatory remediation around the nCino data migration, the Basel IV/CRR changes and the associated aftercare.
What you'll do
- Support the SDR team in remediation programmes around Basel IV, nCino, DoD and/or FML
- Coordinate and execute remediation and aftercare activities, within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Act as the point of contact for your assigned SDR topics
- Facilitate collaboration between business, data, technology, risk and project stakeholders
- Contribute to the implementation of Remendo and GenAI-enabled solutions
- Work on data quality remediation, collateral data analysis and regulatory impact assessments
- Extract, analyse and validate both structured and unstructured data sources
- Resolve issues, identify risks and escalate where appropriate
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, automation and AI technology
What you'll deliver (SMART)
- Assigned remediation and aftercare activities delivered successfully, in line with milestones and planning
- Deliverables completed within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Stakeholders kept aligned through structured communication and progress reporting
- A contribution to the successful implementation of Remendo and GenAI initiatives where applicable
- Collateral and credit risk data quality issues affecting regulatory reporting and risk processes: identified, analysed and remediated
- Improved data quality, traceability, consistency and remediation effectiveness across the entire programme
- Regulatory change initiatives supported with accurate, complete and well-governed data
- Deliverables that support compliance objectives and reduce both operational and regulatory risk
