  Join us as Global Head of Healthcare Airfreight and play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare logistics. You will lead strategic initiatives, expand our global healthcare airfreight portfolio, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions for one of the world’s most demanding industries.

 

About the job

Develop, communicate, and implement the global airfreight strategy for the Healthcare sector in close collaboration with international stakeholders.

Take ownership of the financial performance of the Healthcare Airfreight segment, including budget planning and the achievement of growth and profitability targets.

Develop market, business, and pricing strategies to drive profitable Healthcare airfreight volumes and support the sales organization in customer acquisition and tender processes.

Identify and develop new product, service, and business opportunities, particularly for temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled healthcare shipments.

Manage and continuously improve supplier, quality, and compliance standards in collaboration with partners as well as global Quality and Compliance teams.

Advise customers and network partners on Healthcare airfreight solutions and support the implementation of new and existing customers.

Strengthen the market position of Hellmann Healthcare Logistics by promoting best practice sharing, knowledge transfer, and training initiatives across the global network.

Define, optimize, and monitor processes, capacities, and quality standards, including GDP, CAPA, and contract management requirements.

About you

You bring extensive professional and leadership experience in an international environment, ideally within healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics, as well as working with customers in the healthcare and life sciences sector.

You hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

You have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains and have gained practical experience in areas such as manufacturing, storage, transportation, or distribution of healthcare and pharmaceutical products.

You are familiar with temperature-controlled logistics solutions and have a strong understanding of both active and passive packaging technologies available in the market.

You possess a good understanding of GDP and GMP requirements, including quality management processes such as CAPA, Change Control, and deviation management.

You are an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders and thrives in a collaborative environment.

You have successfully worked in international and cross-functional teams and know how to align diverse stakeholders around common goals.

With your structured and results-driven approach, you successfully manage projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

You have a strong commercial mindset, identify opportunities and challenges early, and develop practical and sustainable solutions.

Your decision-making skills, negotiation expertise, and ability to influence key stakeholders enable you to drive business success and deliver results.

You are fluent in Business English. Additional language skills are considered an asset.

You enjoy working in a global environment and are willing to travel internationally as required.
