Job description
We are hiring FX Trading Systems Developer for a fast-paced team destined to rebuild the market-leading multi-dealer FX trading platform.
This opportunity would be a perfect fit for a candidate with prior experience in building low latency fault tolerant distributed systems in the financial domain using modern Java, messaging systems like Kafka and Solace, backed by both SQL and NoSQL databases and natively running in the cloud via Kubernetes or Docker deployments.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who exhibits expertise in technology. You will lead and encourage others in crafting the architecture and implementation of fault tolerant, robust, and scalable distributed backend systems that power critical financial applications.
You will apply your expertise in distributed systems to design and develop high-performance, low latency, highly available cloud-native backend system solutions using Java and Spring framework aligned with business requirements.
We expect you to:

Perform performance tuning of application code to optimize system responsiveness, ensuring efficient execution of critical market infrastructure services.

Be a part of the code review process, ensuring alignment to our standards and SDLC processes, crafting clean code with robust test coverage.
Successful candidate will also need to participate in architecture discussions and requirement elaborations.
Key Requirements

Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant field is desirable.

Strong core Java + Spring. React knowledge is a plus

Finance degree or certifications (FRM/CFA/PRM, etc.) are considered a plus
