Job description

  • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for electrical systems and equipment.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of electrical systems.

  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical components, wiring, lighting systems, control panels, and related equipment.

  • Conduct routine inspections and identify potential electrical issues before failures occur.

  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with safety procedures, technical standards, and project requirements.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other teams to complete assigned tasks effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and follow safe working practices at all times.

  • Attend emergency breakdowns and provide timely technical support when required.

  • Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in maintenance, construction, or industrial projects.

  • Good knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

  • Experience working in UAE projects will be preferred.

  • Valid UAE Manual Driving License is mandatory.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, and fault finding.

  • Ability to use electrical testing tools and equipment.

  • Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and HSE requirements.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

  • Willingness to work on-site and attend emergency maintenance requirements.
