Draughtsman - Infrastructure Maintenance

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical layouts for infrastructure maintenance and bridge projects.

Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering sketches, specifications, and site requirements.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect project requirements.

Prepare drawings related to bridge maintenance activities, structural repairs, civil works, and infrastructure improvements.

Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Incorporate site modifications and revisions into drawings and maintain proper drawing records.

Assist engineers in preparing technical submissions, material submissions, and project documentation.

Ensure all drawings follow company standards, client requirements, and approved drafting procedures.

Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and transmittals.

Support site teams by providing updated drawings and technical information when required.

Diploma / Technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in infrastructure, bridge construction, bridge maintenance, or civil engineering projects in the UAE.

Proven experience working on UAE infrastructure projects is mandatory.

Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD with strong knowledge of 2D drafting and detailing.

Experience preparing civil, structural, and bridge-related drawings will be preferred.

Knowledge of UAE construction standards and infrastructure project requirements is an advantage.

Excellent command of AutoCAD and drafting techniques.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings.

Good understanding of civil and structural engineering concepts.

Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and meet project deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills with engineering and site teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with Civil 3D, BIM software, or other drafting tools will be an advantage.
