This mindset led us to build the world’s largest construction vessel: the Pioneering Spirit, capable of performing single lifts up to 60,000 tons. Do you trust your own vision and have the courage to pursue it? Then join the thinkers, leaders and visionaries at Allseas!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, technically skilled Service Technician Mechanical to join our team. As a Service Technical Mechanical, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair and modification of mechanical equipment used across Allseas’ vessels, yards, and workshops. Your work ensures the reliability and operational readiness of essential machinery used in complex offshore construction projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assist in assembly and commissioning of mechanical installations;
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation activities during project execution;

- Work alongside other technical disciplines (hydraulics, electrical, structural) as required;
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and service reports in the internal IT systems;
- Ensure all tasks are executed in line with safety and quality procedures.
We are looking for a practical, result-driven Service Technician with a “can-do” attitude who takes initiative and works in a structured way.
- MBO degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical field;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the offshore, shipbuilding, dredging or heavy machinery sector;
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment and marine machinery;
- Familiarity with classification society rules and mechanical safety standards;
- Hands-on mentality, flexible, safety- and result-oriented;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken;
- Willingness to travel and work offshore as needed;
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g. IFS) is an advantage.
