- Reconcile systems data: Monitor and reconcile financial data flows between the OMS, ecommerce platform, Payment Service Provider (PSP), ERP, and marketplace systems.
- Resolve transactional anomalies: Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Drive cross-functional fixes: Work closely with internal and external partners to resolve OMS related financial issues.
- Online Payment & Transaction Management
- Monitor daily settlements: Support daily monitoring and reconciliation of online transactions processed through the PSP to ensure accurate settlement, fee validation, and refund processing.
- Track chargebacks and fraud: Manage chargeback tracking and investigate payment discrepancies alongside Customer Service and PSP support.
- Analyze payment performance: Assist in maintaining payment method performance analysis, tracking metrics like approval rates, declines, and fraud indicators.
- Maintain audit compliance: Support internal audits and maintain compliance workflows related to online payments and PCI requirements.
- Marketplace Financial Control & Processes
- Manage marketplace channels: Oversee financial reporting and end-to-end reconciliation for online marketplaces.
- Validate vendor costs: Verify marketplace settlements, commissions, logistics fees, and chargebacks to ensure accurate net revenue.
- Serve as channel point of contact: Act as the primary finance contact for all marketplace-related operational queries.
- Sales Reporting, Forecasting & Budgeting
- Generate performance reports: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly ecommerce sales reports.
- P&L: Co-own P&L targets alongside the Senior Ecommerce Manager to meet net margin goals.
- Planning cycle: Support the preparation of sales forecasts, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts for the ecommerce channel.
- Execute variance analysis: Track actual performance versus budget and forecast, flagging risks and opportunities.
- Model growth scenarios: Support long-range planning and scenario analysis for growth initiatives, new promotions, and expansion into new markets and channels.
About You the ideal candidate has/is the following:
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or retail/ecommerce operations.
- Direct exposure to consumer goods or a fast-paced Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and marketplace retail environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), ERPs, and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) is highly preferred.
- A proactive problem-solver who can bridge the gap between technical data flows and financial reporting while communicating effectively across internal departments.
