Working hours: Full-time
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities Aufgabengebiet
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions based on Java and modern JVM frameworks
- Build a new tariff management platform, as the current solution is not yet fully fit for purpose
- Develop an end-to-end solution consisting of backend services and frontend components
- Develop pay-per-use, pricing, tariff management, and subscription solutions
- Design and implement orchestration processes for pricing, billing, and product-related workflows
- Design, develop, and enhance API interfaces and integration services for internal and external systems
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) as well as relational databases (e.g., MariaDB)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve the overall system landscape
- Collaborate within an agile, international development team
Anforderungsprofil Your Profile
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer
- Strong experience with Java and spring Boot
- Experience in building scalable backend applications and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MariaDB)
- Experience in developing subscription models, ideally in the area of tariff management, pricing, billing, or pay-per-use solutions
- Experience in designing and implementing tariff management systems
- Strong experience in API development, integration services, and interface design
- Experience working with Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of orchestration processes and complex business workflows
- Experience building backend services; frontend experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive topics independently
- Fluent English skills; German is not required
Nice to Have
- Experience in the energy sector, utilities, or e-commerce
- Experience with AWS
- Frontend development experience
