Backend Engineer – Java (Spring Boot)

Role Overview We are looking for experienced Backend Engineer – Java to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and microservices for digital banking platforms. The role focuses on building scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, implementing secure REST APIs, and supporting cloud-native deployments within modern banking ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and REST APIs.
• Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and ensure high-quality code.

Application Engineering

• Develop middleware services and enterprise integrations.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing with JUnit and code reviews.
• Implement security best practices to protect applications and user data.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application enhancements.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Work with AWS and Azure cloud services to support scalable applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
