Landscape Technical Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Landscape Technical Coordinator designs sustainable and functional outdoor spaces, with a focus on parks, public areas, and urban landscapes. This role emphasizes environmentally conscious solutions while reflecting cultural heritage and modern design principles. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Landscape Architect ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Abu Dhabi's vision for sustainable urban development.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to analyze project areas, including entrances, surrounding context, and environmental conditions for residential, commercial, or public spaces.
• Develop initial design concepts, including sketches and CAD drawings, in response to project briefs and client requirements.
• Prepare and present design proposals using relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• Attend client meetings to present designs, collect feedback, and incorporate revisions to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with technical teams to advance concepts into detailed designs, ensuring feasibility and functionality.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, site teams) to align design execution with project timelines and budget requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and elements specified in the design.
• Oversee project implementation to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and urban planners to create cohesive, functional, and visually appealing spaces that meet client and community needs.
• Stay informed about local environmental regulations, zoning laws, and best practices to ensure all designs are compliant.
• Integrate innovative solutions for challenges related to extreme heat, water scarcity, and soil conditions, including shading, wind management, and resource-efficient techniques.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.
• Proven experience in architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing sustainable and innovative designs.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
