Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rotary QC Inspector to ensure the quality, inspection, testing, and compliance of rotary equipment during construction, installation, and commissioning activities in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection of rotating equipment and be familiar with international quality standards and project specifications.

Contract Duration: 6 Months-1 Year

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, fans, and related auxiliaries.

Verify installation activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable international standards.

Conduct inspections during equipment installation, alignment, assembly, and commissioning.

Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and inspection reports.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams during inspections.

Witness testing activities, including mechanical run tests, alignment checks, and functional testing.

Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and project quality standards.

Raise and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions.

Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, and final handover dossiers.

Requirements: Requirements

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical.

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Contract Duration: 6 Months-1 Year

Hands-on experience in inspection of rotating equipment.

Knowledge of international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and project quality requirements.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, inspection procedures, and technical specifications.

Good communication skills and proficiency in preparing inspection reports.

GCC project experience will be an added advantage.
