Solutions & Products Developer (Abu Dhabi Based)

Job Summary Solutions & Products Developer is responsible for one Solution & Product related to GSI Segment activities across K&A. S/He is responsible to implement the Solutions & Products unit’s business plan. The jobholder will adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring quality and managing costs. The jobholder is also responsible to customize, configure and deploy solution and product for small projects. S/He shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the GIS space related to GSI Segments and participate in international forums.

Key Responsibilities (Financial)

• Ensure that project deliverables are within established budget and on time

Key Responsibilities (Customer Focus)

• Ensure client satisfaction with GSI Segments project deliverables

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)

• Receive the requirements specification document
• Use the requirements specifications that reflects the client’s business needs, configure/customers solutions and/or products
• Test and implement solution/product at client site
• Prepare workshop materials for small projects; support the preparation of such material for complex projects
• Write the end user manuals and training materials
• Conduct end user trainings (standard training and/or custom)
• Adhere to corporate policies and procedures

Qualification, Technical Skills And Competencies

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Analysis or equivalent
• Good knowledge of the application of geospatial technologies to the GSI Segments industries
• Some programming skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English

Specific Experience Required To Execute This Role

• 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in Geospatial, GSI Segments industries
• Some programming experience
• Some experience in documentation and user/training manuals preparation
• Some experience with developing and maintaining relationships with clients
• Some relevant industry experience within the Middle East and other countries of operation
