Senior Vendor Success Manager
Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Vendor Success Manager to lead relationships with a portfolio of strategic logistics partners across Germany. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, service quality, and long-term partner growth while acting as the primary point of contact for key vendor accounts.
The successful candidate will own partner performance end-to-end, managing operational, commercial, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Act as the primary contact for strategic logistics partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholder teams.
- Lead issue resolution and manage escalations to ensure effective outcomes.
- Drive long-term partner engagement and development.
Performance & Operational Management
- Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Develop and implement action plans to address operational challenges.
- Drive service quality and operational excellence across multiple regions.
- Ensure consistent execution of agreed operational standards.
Strategic Partner Development
- Identify growth opportunities including market expansion, scaling initiatives, and new operational areas.
- Improve operational efficiency and optimise cost structures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Support portfolio planning and long-term partner development strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Account Management, Finance, Product, Technology, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance, and Business Planning teams.
- Support forecasting, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and contractual alignment across partner operations.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare and present performance reports, business updates, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of KPIs, action plans, and operational improvements.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Key Account Management, Vendor Management, Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Proven success managing large, complex strategic accounts and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using KPIs and performance metrics to drive business improvements.
- Experience developing long-term strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated ownership of commercial and operational outcomes.
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working in fast-paced industries such as logistics, e-commerce, mobility, transportation, or on-demand delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
