What You Will Be Doing

• Constructing highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify problems, detect irregularities, and initiate corrective action within 48 hours
• Delivering rapid-response intervention calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from mistakes, and sustain student engagement
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while prototyping AI/LLM solutions to advance learning methodologies and address targeted challenges
• Coordinating with leadership to refine instruments, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor advances

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Attending prolonged meetings or delivering generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
• Evaluating assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation are the foundation of our approach
• Remaining at the high-level strategic tier without execution or being confined to repetitive tasks—this position is hands-on and fluid

Curriculum Specialist Key Responsibilities Advance student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or comparable position, education, EdTech, or a student-support capacity combining analytical and interpersonal elements
• Competence in Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities and a student-friendly coaching approach
• Experience constructing workflows and automations using AI
• Minimum 1 year experience working directly with K-8 students
• Availability to work during mandatory core hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or proven track record enhancing outcomes via data-driven methods
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting strategies, and introductory coding capabilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interfacing with AI APIs

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
