Job description
YOUR ROLE
As Senior Product Manager – Client Experience & Engagement (f/m/d) you own everything that happens after a client's first investment. You shape the digital home of our clients across web and native app: portfolio reporting, performance insights, documents, settings and self-services, and you turn it into an experience worthy of a premium wealth manager. Our clients hold portfolios that include private equity funds from KKR, EQT, CVC and Permira and venture stakes in companies like SpaceX, Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe and Anduril. You design how these investments are experienced, understood and told as a story in the product. Your mandate is twofold: make the day-to-day experience exceptional, and grow the relationship through digital up- and cross-sell of additional portfolios, products and account types. LIQID is hybrid by design, so you build a digital experience in which the personal Relationship Manager is natively woven in rather than bolted on. Clients should never feel a seam between their app and their advisor.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• End-to-End Client Experience Ownership: Own the active client journey from first investment onward across web and native app. You set the vision for portfolio reporting, portfolio KPIs and performance communication, document management, account settings and self-services, and you raise the quality bar until the digital experience matches the standard of our investment products. That includes the storytelling layer for private markets: making capital calls, distributions, J-curves and the underlying funds and companies, from Cinven and Advent to Mistral and Databricks, tangible and understandable for clients. You define and evolve the North Star and KPI tree for active clients, building on our existing engagement framework (top-ups, additional portfolio and account openings, share of wallet, dashboard engagement, self-service completion) and developing it further where you see sharper signals.
• Digital Up- & Cross-Sell: Design and scale the journeys that deepen client relationships: time to first top-up, second portfolio and second product adoption, additional account types (joint, kids), and share-of-wallet growth. You identify natural product sequences through path and cohort analysis, build in-product moments and lifecycle campaigns that convert them, and prove your impact with honest, causal measurement rather than correlation stories. You build repeatable growth systems for the existing client base instead of one-off campaigns.
• Hybrid Experience & RM Integration: Make the Relationship Manager a first-class citizen of the digital product. You design how human advice surfaces inside the app: contextual RM touchpoints, seamless handovers between self-service and personal consultation, and self-service flows for major actions (top-ups, strategy changes, tax documents) that reduce friction without reducing trust. You measure and improve the interplay between RM engagement and client outcomes, from retention to share of wallet.
• Discovery, Data & Experimentation: Run continuous discovery with clients and Relationship Managers to understand what HNW clients actually need from their wealth dashboard. You define tracking schemas and metric contracts for the active client domain, run experiments and cohort analyses across engagement, retention and multi-product adoption, and use AI-assisted prototyping to converge on solutions in few iteration cycles. You act as Product Manager and Product Owner for a cross-functional squad of Engineering and Design, and prioritize with a transparent impact and effort logic that also means saying no.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Background: 7+ years of experience in Product Management for digital consumer products, ideally in FinTech, WealthTech, banking or another trust-driven domain. Experience with engagement, retention or CRM-driven product work is a strong plus, as is exposure to native app development.
• Analytical & Technical Fluency: Hands-on experience with product analytics, funnel and cohort analysis, and experimentation. You define metrics before you build, establish baselines, and attribute impact credibly. You are comfortable discussing architecture and API trade-offs with engineers and use AI tooling to prototype and compress your own cycles.
• Domain Curiosity & Client Empathy: Genuine interest in investing and wealth management (capital markets, private markets, portfolio construction) and the ambition to build regulatory fluency in a supervised environment. You understand that our clients entrust us with significant wealth and that every pixel of the experience either builds or erodes that trust.
• Communication & Language: Fluent in English (German a plus!), able to align Product, Design, Engineering, CRM and Relationship Management around one coherent client experience, and to represent your roadmap credibly toward leadership.
• Drive & Motivation: Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership scale-up environments. You want to own outcomes, not backlogs, and you are excited to define what a premium hybrid wealth experience looks like in an AI-native product organization.
Don’t meet all the requirements? Apply anyway! We look forward to receiving your application.
