Job description
Shape the purchasing of the future with us! We are looking for master’s graduates with a drive to make a difference, who will optimize our global supplier network and secure innovations in our Junior Managers Program. Do you negotiate skillfully, think globally, and want to win the best partners for Bosch? Then we want to hear from you.
Over an intensive 12 to 24-month journey, you will become part of one of the most important levers in our company: Purchasing. You will rotate through various departments—in Germany and worldwide—and dive deep into markets, suppliers, and strategic decisions. Your mission: create value, manage risks, and rethink purchasing.
You won't just support—you will negotiate, decide, and shape. You will bring in your own ideas, lead discussions, and directly see the impact of your decisions—affecting costs, quality, and innovation.
What you will learn and develop with us:
You will learn how global purchasing truly works—and how data, strategy, and negotiation skills make all the difference.
You will actively shape purchasing strategies, further develop procurement processes, and bring digitalization and new tools into purchasing.
You will work with international teams, suppliers, and your personal mentor to develop into the next generation of leadership in purchasing.
Your academic foundation:
You have graduated with an outstanding (full-time) Master's degree, e.g., in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Informatics, or a technical field of study. Topics such as purchasing, supply chain, or data genuinely interest you.
Your passion for purchasing & markets:
You are excited about negotiations, markets, and strategic decisions. Numbers, analyses, and economic relationships are not just a duty for you—they are a challenge.
Your eye for the bigger picture:
You want to understand how purchasing, production, sales, and logistics connect—and how you can make a real difference with your decisions.
Your understanding of human-centric leadership:
You can convince people, approach others openly, and build strong relationships—both internally and externally.
You think strategically and shape the future:
You challenge existing processes, develop new ideas, and have the drive to actually implement them—especially regarding digitalization and smart purchasing processes.
Your continuous development:
You want to grow—both professionally and personally. You are curious, learn quickly, and love to take on responsibility.
Your language proficiency:
You communicate fluently in both English and German (negotiation level). You have already gained at least three months of international experience.
Why you will love being part of our community
We are deeply invested in the growth of our team members. We have created an environment where you are supported, valued, and empowered to do your best work.
Mentoring & Sponsoring: An executive-level mentor will accompany you on your journey, actively support your development, and open doors for your next career steps with us.
A culture of belonging: From day one, you will become part of a global community of trainees from diverse backgrounds and locations. Build authentic connections beyond formal projects through virtual hangouts, local meetups, or our (global) trainee summits.
Flexible & hybrid working: We trust you to manage your work in a way that fits your life, with a flexible start date and a permanent employment contract. We offer a hybrid model that combines office and remote collaboration.
Continuous learning: Benefit from up to 6 rotations across different HR and IT departments, including an international rotation, supported by a generous budget for your professional development (courses, certifications, and conferences).
