Chief Accountant

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Chief Accountant to Support our Finance Department and ensure the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, local regulations, and Hyatt standards
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions
• Support department heads with financial insights to improve operational performance
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper documentation of financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Hotel accounting experience is mandatory (preferably in a similar role)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
