Job description

Manage the IWPs and IWTPs Contracts activities; provide expert advice and guidance, monitor project progress, and take corrective action to ensure that projects comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, practices, and policies

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the implementation of strategic plans for IWPs and IWTPs contracts management that align with corporate strategy, vision, mission, and objectives.

• Assist in the development and monitoring of the department's annual budget in alignment with strategic objectives.

• Provide expertise and support to leadership on related areas to help achieve the Contracts Management and Operations divisional goals.

• Manage team performance by setting individual objectives, overseeing performance, and fostering team development and motivation.

• Participate in talent development initiatives for IWPs and IWTPs Contracts in collaboration with discipline experts to align talent with business needs.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support the achievement of defined KPIs in line with overall business strategies.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls to meet procedural and legislative requirements.

• Contribute to ensuring that departmental reports adhere to policies and quality standards, delivering them in a timely and accurate manner. Job Specific Accountabilities • Assist in reviewing contract documents for IWPs and IWTPs contract projects to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.

• Work with legal teams to help ensure that contracts are legally robust, mitigate potential liabilities, and safeguard interests.

• Support the evaluation of procedures, policies, and requirements of IWPs and IWTPs contract projects, offering recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Conduct site visits to monitor operator performance and ensure compliance with the technical standards specified in the contract.

• Coordinate with finance and procurement teams to facilitate timely and accurate payment processing and invoice reconciliation.

• Assist in identifying risks associated with contractual agreements, contribute to reporting and escalation processes, and suggest risk mitigation strategies.

• Help review plants' progress reports, ensuring they meet contractual obligations, and prepare analyses and observations.

• Support technical due diligence processes for IWPs and IWTPs contract projects, analyzing project strengths and weaknesses.

• Assist in reviewing technical and engineering reports to ensure compliance with professional and quality standards.

• Participate in managing disputes and claims related to IWP’s and IWTPs, helping assess their validity and ensuring timely resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or any other related field • Master’s degree is preferable.

Minimum Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in IWPs and IWTPs Contracts or any other related field
