Job description

What's On Your Plate?

  • Build familiarity with your squad's product area and users, with guidance from your manager and senior designer.

  • Translate well-defined problems into clean, considered design solutions, wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.

  • Participate in generative and evaluative research activities (user interviews, usability tests) alongside more senior team members.

  • Work within and apply the design system consistently across your features; flag gaps or inconsistencies when you spot them.

  • Gather and incorporate feedback from users, peers, and stakeholders throughout the design process.

  • Partner with your PM and senior designer to understand the problem space before jumping to solutions.

  • Share your work regularly with your immediate team for early feedback and iteration.

  • Participate in cross-functional workshops and design critique sessions as a contributor.

  • Document your design decisions and rationale clearly for handoff and async review.

  • Stay curious. Continuously develop your craft through feedback, peer learning, and industry awareness.

  • Explore AI tools as part of your design process and stay curious about how they can raise the quality and speed of your work.

What Did We Order?

  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of full-time UX/UI design experience, ideally in a consumer-facing product environment.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking process, not just polished outputs, but how you approached and solved problems.

  • Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred; AI tools, etc)

  • Familiarity with core UX methods (e.g., user flows, journey mapping, wireframing, basic usability testing).

  • An eye for detail and a genuine care for how things look, feel, and function.

  • Comfortable asking questions, receiving direct feedback, and iterating quickly.

  • Clear communicator who can explain their design choices to their immediate team.

  • Organized and able to manage their own tasks in an agile sprint environment with guidance.

  • Humble and growth-minded, you see every critique as a chance to get better.
