Job description

The Regional Service Line Director is responsible for leading the Service Line’s activities within Middle East & South Asia region aligned to the Global Service Line & Regional Buisness Line Director strategic plan delivered through the regional network. This includes development & implementation of the Service Line’s strategy within Middle East & South Asia region as well as full P&L responsibility including Order Intake Targets, service line project profitability & DSO. 

Additional responsibilities include the development of the financial plans, marketing plans, project methodologies, technical & commercial leadership as well as project & service line staffing requirements & talent management. The position is a key element in connecting the region & its clients to the global service line & conversely connect the global service line with the region & its specific market dynamics. Collaborate with the Country Directors, regional & business line commercial organization, tender unit, marketing team and finance.

  • Establish effective regional service line organizational structure & skill base to meet the needs of the service line group in the short & longer term.

  • Develop region-based business plans 

  • Evaluate & plan for future market conditions & align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities, industry trends & break through innovations. 

  • Maximize financial results of the service line within the region including P&L, fixed assets, capital expenditure & receivables.

  • Responsible for executing & ensuring effective delivery of operational & budgetary objectives.

  • Establish PL forecast revenues & profits in accordance with prescribed guidelines & ensure effective teamwork to meet or exceed targets.

  • Complete commercial evaluations & pricing recommendations with regards to the service line’s activities. 

  • Work with HR, Tender Unit, & country managing directors to manage operational planning & staff utilization including future project demand planning, talent acquisition, mobility & retention.

  • Responsible for service line group operations to ensure service performance, quality, & efficiency, & cost-effective management of resources as per objectives.

  • Plan & implement effective strategic marketing campaigns, following both global service line marketing strategies & local marketing strategies.  

  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the nuclear engineering function.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of nuclear projects with other company initiatives.

  • Lead the development of design management processes and methodologies in various disciplines, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

  • Lead the development of nuclear system engineering, ensuring the design and implementation align with industry standards and project requirements.

  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with nuclear engineering projects, considering factors such as technical complexities, regulatory requirements, and external influences.

  • Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to proactively address challenges and ensure project

  • Technical and Commercial knowledge of nuclear activities and context

  • Experience in P&L management, ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of projects

  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements. 

  • Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients. Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.

  • Interactive client presentations, commercial road shows, speaking at conferences and events to promote Egis’s services
