We are looking for a passionate and talented Visual Merchandiser to join our Amsterdam store and bring our collections and brand identity to life.

What You'll Do

As our Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and consistent shopping experience that reflects the Subdued brand. Working closely with our Style Office in Italy, you will ensure the store always looks fresh, inspiring, and aligned with our visual standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, create, and implement visual merchandising strategies that enhance the customer journey.
• Design attractive window displays, in-store presentations, mannequins, and seasonal installations.
• Ensure product presentation is always commercial, inspiring, and aligned with Subdued's brand image.
• Collaborate daily with the Style Office in Italy to execute visual guidelines and new collection launches.
• Adapt displays according to new arrivals, promotions, seasonal themes, and commercial priorities.
• Analyze sales performance and customer trends to optimize product placement and visual impact.
• Support the store team by providing guidance on merchandising standards and display execution.
• Maintain high visual standards across all departments while ensuring the store remains organized and appealing.
• Stay up to date with the latest fashion, retail, lifestyle, and visual merchandising trends to continuously bring new ideas to the store.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, Visual Manager, or in a similar retail visual role.
• A genuine passion for fashion, styling, and retail design.
• Strong creativity with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret sales data to improve store performance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A proactive, energetic, and hands-on attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both local teams and our Head Office in Italy.
• Good command of English (Dutch is considered a plus).
