Job Description
Team Summary
Global FX & Cross-Border Solutions supports Visa’s regional and market teams in driving cross-border growth by helping clients develop, launch, and scale FX-enabled propositions that enhance travel and international payment experiences.
The FX & Cross-Border Commercialization team partners closely with regional FX leads, Sales, Business Development, Product, Solutioning, Marketing, Treasury, Client Services, and other cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape FX-enabled value propositions, support client engagements, and drive consistent execution across key markets.
Role Summary
As an FX & Cross-Border Commercialization Manager, you will work at the intersection of commercial strategy, client solutioning, and execution to help regional teams turn FX and cross-border opportunities into scalable client propositions.
Reporting to the AP Lead of FX & Cross-Border Commercialization, this role acts as a scaled extension of regional FX leadership by supporting pipeline development, embedding FX within broader cross-border strategies, and coordinating execution across internal stakeholders.
You will play a key role in connecting client needs with Visa capabilities — supporting FX-led engagements, contributing to broader cross-border advisory discussions, and helping teams move from opportunity identification to value proposition strategy, solution design, internal stakeholder management, and execution.
Wha you'll work on
-
Drive FX and cross-border pipeline development by partnering with Account Teams, FX and XB teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, shape, qualify, and advance opportunities aligned to client priorities and market dynamics.
-
Shape FX-enabled value propositions by partnering with Account Teams, Product, Solutioning, VCA, and Marketing to position FX capabilities within broader cross-border strategies, travel propositions, and multi-currency solutions.
-
Translate client needs into executable solutions by assessing requirements and supporting solution design across Visa FX capabilities, multi-currency propositions, settlement models, FX transparency solutions, competitive positioning, and RFP responses.
-
Act as an FX subject matter expert by supporting advisory engagements, internal education, solutioning discussions, and client-facing narratives while coordinating with specialist teams where deeper product, treasury, or operational input is required.
-
Support cross-border advisory and integration by identifying opportunities to incorporate FX capabilities into broader Visa cross-border initiatives and client strategies.
-
Coordinate execution and governance by supporting opportunity tracking, stakeholder alignment, prioritization, internal approvals, implementation readiness, and resolution of execution bottlenecks.
-
Build reusable commercialization assets by developing playbooks, trackers, client materials, enablement content, and documentation that improve consistency, scalability, and execution discipline across FX and cross-border opportunities.
-
Drive internal enablement and market insights by delivering education sessions, sharing best practices, gathering client and market feedback, and helping refine FX/XB propositions and go-to-market strategies.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
What you'll need
We are looking for a commercially minded FX and cross-border problem solver who can operate close to client opportunities while partnering effectively across Account Teams, Product, Solutioning, Treasury, Client Services, Operations, and governance stakeholders.
-
6–10 years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, consulting, or related financial services roles, with exposure to FX, cross-border, settlement, or multi-currency solutions.
-
Strong understanding of FX products, multi-currency solutions, settlement flows, and the cross-border payments landscape, with the ability to connect product capabilities to client needs and market opportunities.
-
Ability to develop and articulate compelling FX-enabled value propositions, with an understanding of how FX capabilities can support broader cross-border, travel, and international payments strategies.
-
Experience in client-facing commercialization, business development, advisory, or solutioning roles, with the ability to identify opportunities, shape value propositions, and translate client needs into commercially viable solutions.
-
Ability to translate client or market needs into clear value propositions, solution strategies, commercial priorities, and execution plans that can be aligned across internal teams.
-
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align Account Teams, Product, Solutioning, and other cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
-
Strong execution discipline, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain pipeline visibility, track actions, coordinate approvals, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
-
Comfort working across Account Teams, Product, Solutioning, Client Services, Treasury, and Operations teams to support the development, commercialization, and execution of scalable client solutions.
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
What will also help
-
Professional experience in FX, cross-border payments, issuer/acquirer solutions, settlement-related solutions, travel propositions, banking, fintech, or payments consulting.
-
Experience supporting multi-currency, wallet, settlement, travel, or cross-border propositions from opportunity discovery through solutioning, internal alignment, and implementation support.
-
Experience contributing to competitive positioning, RFP responses, client narratives, sales materials, and internal enablement content for complex payment or financial services propositions.
-
Experience building playbooks, trackers, dashboards, operating routines, or documentation that improve visibility, repeatability, and execution discipline across distributed teams.
-
Curiosity, learning agility, and comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces, especially where FX capabilities need to be integrated into broader cross-border strategies and market-specific client needs.
Projects you will be part of
You will work on FX and cross-border commercialization projects focused on pipeline development, client solutioning, advisory support, approval coordination, implementation readiness, and scalable execution across key markets. Through hands-on delivery, you will help regional and market teams identify opportunities, shape client propositions, coordinate internal stakeholders, and turn FX and XB capabilities into executable client outcomes.
Projects may include supporting FX-led client engagements, embedding FX into broader cross-border and travel propositions, designing multi-currency solutions and FX transparency propositions, preparing client narratives and sales materials, contributing to RFP responses, coordinating internal approvals, tracking pipeline progress, and developing reusable playbooks and enablement content that improve consistency and scalability across Global FX.
