Job description

Help us get ahead of disease together with our SG LOC / Supply Chain Business Area Internship, 2027:

   

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business/Commerce with a focus in Supply Chain, Logistics discipline.

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English  

Expected Start date: January to June 2027

What will you do?  

Provide accurate supply chain reports (i.e. ageing, inventory, backorder, sales recon, etc) in a timely manner. 

Perform operational activities (i.e creation of customer, processing PO, OBD creation, etc) 

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. 3PL, commercial, etc) 

Communicate inventory positions and work with the business to put in place mitigation plans (if needed) to ensure continuity of supply 

Assist in managing & solving issues related to supply chain activities. 

Assist in analyzing data, identifying opportunities & establish process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain. 

Any other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned 

 

You will be involved in: 

Interaction with internal and external stakeholders 

Daily operation on inbound and redressing process 

Reconciliation – Inventory and sales 

Continuous process improvement initiative  

What will you learn?

Receive End-to-end exposure to international supply chain (Site – First Trade Customer) 

Interaction with wide-range of internal & external stakeholders 

Day-to-day interaction with 3PL partner to manage domestic warehousing and distribution

Process & systems orientated 

Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Eye for detail and attention to rigor and process 

Demonstrate a desire to learn and seek the rationale behind processes and systems 

Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing activities and tasks 

Strong teamwork skills and ability to build relationship with key stakeholders 

Identify areas that could be improved and state a case for change 

Perseverance, resilience, and problem-solving skills 

Comfortable working with multiple technology systems (databases) and Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
