Heavy & Light Bus Driver

Job Summary

The Heavy & Light Bus Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of employees, visitors, or passengers using company buses. The driver must comply with UAE traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations while ensuring the vehicle remains in excellent operating condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy and light buses on assigned routes.
• Transport employees, clients, and visitors according to schedules.
• Ensure passengers board and disembark safely.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Check fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, and battery.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Maintain daily trip sheets, mileage, fuel consumption, and logbooks.
• Follow UAE traffic regulations and company HSE policies.
• Drive defensively and avoid speeding or unsafe driving practices.
• Ensure all passengers wear seat belts where applicable.
• Coordinate with the Transport Supervisor regarding schedules and route changes.
• Assist during emergencies and follow company emergency procedures.
• Maintain professional behaviour and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License:
• Category 6 – Heavy Bus
• Category 5 – Light Bus (or other applicable categories based on company requirements)
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit and medically fit to drive.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, shift-based duty.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• May require long-distance travel and overtime.
• Compliance with company PPE and HSE requirements at project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in staff transportation, school buses, or industrial projects.
• First Aid and Fire Safety certification (preferred).
• Experience working in ADNOC, government, or construction projects is an advantage.

Pay: AED1,305.37 - AED2,504.28 per month

Work Location: In person
