MEP Technician

Responsible for the daily maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of all building systems including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services, managing service providers, daily coordination with store and updating the inventory of materials. To carry out Planned, Reactive & Corrective Maintenance task for MEP systems & routine inspection of all assets to make sure Woking is healthy condition & Pump rooms, RO plant maintenance, AMC vendor management.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ITI or Diploma
• UAE driving license - REQUIRED
• MEP background is preferred, as approximately 80% of the role involves facilities operations
• 4 years’ experience with relevant history of maintenance & repair in residential & commercial premises.
• Previous experience in Facilities Management Operations in private assets, Farms operations.
• Any certifications in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, EPA Refrigerant etc. are a strong plus.
• Hands on knowledge of MEP Installation and General maintenance.

KEY SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of MEP equipment.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• HVAC systems maintenance and repair (AHUs, FCUs, split AC units, ventilation systems).
• Electrical installation, testing, and repair.
• Plumbing systems installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments and maintenance tools.
• Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) is an advantage.
• Understanding health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Time management and ability to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance situations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To undertake all work to the highest standard possible and in line with current best practice and guidelines.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Submit the daily reports to the management, Monitor spare parts, tools and equipment required to execute the maintenance work.
• Follow the safety regulations and procedures while performing the maintenance work.
• Responds to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level timelines and operational policies.
• Follow any other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties as requested by your manager.
• Ensure tasks are completed within the required response time based on priorities.
