Civil Technician (Handyman)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Civil Technician / Handyman to perform general civil maintenance, repair, and renovation works for residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring all work meets company quality & keep maintained records & WO.

JOB LOCATION - FUJAIRAH, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ITI, Masonry, Carpentry, or a related trade is preferred.
• UAE driving license - REQUIRED
• Good knowledge of masonry, painting, plastering, tiling, and carpentry.
• 4 +years’ experience with relevant history of maintenance & repair in residential & commercial premises.
• Previous experience in Facilities Management Operations in accommodation or Apartment buildings & commercial communities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on knowledge of civil works and General maintenance.

• Good Knowledge of Materials & color coding.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Safe working practices, risk assessments, method statements and permit to work systems

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of buildings and civil structures.
• Carry out masonry work, including brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and concrete repairs.
• Perform painting, wall patching, and finishing works to maintain building appearance.
• Install, repair, and replace floor and wall tiles as required.
• Carry out basic carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
• Repair damaged walls, ceilings, floors, and other structural elements.
• Perform waterproofing repairs and sealant applications to prevent water leakage.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance issues and report major defects to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair work.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with company quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of waste materials.
• Keep records of completed maintenance tasks and materials used, as required.
• Assist other maintenance technicians with general repair and maintenance activities when needed.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the position.
