Heavy Duty Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 7) and have experience transporting construction materials and equipment. The role requires safe vehicle operation, routine vehicle inspections, basic preventive maintenance, and assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials while following assigned routes and schedules.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and ensure cargo is properly secured before transportation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, tires, lights, engine oil, coolant, battery, and other essential components.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and promptly report any mechanical faults or repair requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, fuel consumption reports, and vehicle inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with the logistics, warehouse, and site teams to ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Operations or Transport Supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 7).
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience operating heavy-duty trucks, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience transporting construction materials, equipment, or site supplies.
• Knowledge of vehicle operation, routine inspections, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to communicate in basic English; Hindi or Arabic is an advantage.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
