Job description

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is part of the Digital & Technology team supporting JDE Peet's global Out-of-Home business. By engaging with consumers in out-of-home settings - such as workplaces, universities, care facilities, airports, or hotels - we support our company's core mission: delivering a coffee for every cup.  

Working within a DevOps team, you will help deliver digital marketing capabilities that enable personalised customer engagement, data-driven decision-making and scalable marketing automation across our global markets. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with analytical thinking to design, build and optimise solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, technology architects and developers to turn business requirements into reliable and scalable solutions that deliver measurable value. 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a global environment where technology, data and marketing come together to create outstanding customer experiences. As a hands-on member of the scrum team you will: 

Design, develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including email campaigns, customer journeys, automations and audience segmentation. 

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions. 

Monitor campaign performance and analyse customer engagement data to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved business outcomes. 

Manage and optimise marketing data models, data extensions and SQL-based processes to ensure high-quality, actionable customer data. 

Implement and support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and platforms such as Salesforce core, SAP and other technologies, also API based. 

Contribute to platform stability, continuous improvement and agile delivery by supporting releases, incident management and adoption of SFMC best practices.

For this role as a [insert role here], we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: 

Passion for combining technology, data and marketing to create personalised customer experiences and drive measurable business impact. 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. 

3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Contact Builder. 

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and translate insights into optimisation opportunities. 

Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments and collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders. 

Strong SQL skills and proven experience managing marketing data, segmentation and audience targeting. Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other platforms and leveraging personalization capabilities like AMPScript and HTML/CSS
