In order to support the Eurofighter Simulation Team in Manching, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Simulator Integration & Verification Engineer - Eurofighter PSTS (d/m/f)

As an Integration & Verification Engineer within the PSTS System Engineering and Verification team, you will play a key role in the Eurofighter P3E (Phase 3 Evolution) project. In this position, you will be responsible for integrating and maintaining software items within the Pilot Synthetic Training System environment to ensure peak operational readiness. Reporting directly to both the Integration Manager and the Head of System Engineering & Verification, you will drive critical testing and validation activities in a highly collaborative and technical environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Generate test stories and test cases for several training devices based on Level 1 requirements

Perform Level 1 requirement verification using written test stories

Implement and test design changes resulting from hardware modifications

Conduct hard- and software system tests & document the results

Provide and document system test definitions for relevant hard- and software simulation items within the P3E project

Support the installation and maintenance of all PSTS training devices

Ensure all technical and design issues for the simulation items are resolved

Support acceptance tests and qualification activities with services and final customers

Report progress and status to the Integration Manager and Chief Engineer

Maximize the use of artificial intelligence tools to generate test cases and run the verification matrix

Desired skills and qualifications

Hold a degree in computer science or engineering

Understand system integration processes and requirement traceability

Apply knowledge of programming languages and operating systems like C, C++, Python, Perl, ADA, Windows, and Linux

Work with requirements management tools such as DOORS

Utilize artificial intelligence tools to optimize testing workflows

Communicate fluently in written and spoken English

Adapt quickly to rapid changes in daily activities and priorities

Work effectively in a multi-cultural environment

Bring familiarity with the Eurofighter simulation and verification process (as a strong plus)
