Semiconductor Fab Solutions (SFS) develops electron microscopy solutions for quality control in the semiconductor industry.

Your Role:

Lead the Data Analytics group within the Semiconductor Fab Solutions development division, thereby assuming and shaping a key leadership role in the further development of unique solutions for metrology and defect analysis in the semiconductor sector

Lead the group’s employees with technical expertise, discipline, and respect; support their professional development in line with requirements; and foster a collaborative work environment within the group and with other departments

Be responsible for and drive the development of reliable machine control, process automation, and product software for metrology and defect analysis products in the semiconductor industry—from concept through to series production handover—and ensure, maintain, and further develop the necessary processes and expertise within your area of responsibility

Prepare, regularly review, and update cost and capacity plans for your area of responsibility

Provide the expertise and resources required for our development projects within the area of responsibility; build up staff as needed or source them externally; and ensure the recruitment and management of external development partners

Drive the establishment and expansion of strategic, external development partnerships and ensure the selection of suppliers and their technical qualification in collaboration with Purchasing, Quality, and Technical Supplier Development

Work closely with other development departments, Purchasing, Quality, Service, Product Management, Production, external development partners, suppliers, and customers, and support R&D management in carrying out their tasks

Identify and expand the methodological and technological expertise required within your area of responsibility in accordance with the product roadmaps
Your Profile:
-
An excellent degree (Master’s/Diploma) in computer science, physics, information technology, another engineering discipline, or a comparable field, as well as an above-average high school diploma qualifying for university admission

Strong leadership skills, demonstrated by several years of experience leading and managing teams and/or projects in an international environment

Excellent knowledge and several years of experience in professional and agile software development, programming within the Microsoft ecosystem, conducting software testing, and project management

Ideally, knowledge and experience in requirements engineering methods, electron microscopy, container/client-server applications, image processing, and machine learning

The ability and willingness to motivate and develop employees and shape them into a high-performing team; a strong commitment to performance and responsibility; the ability to assert oneself and manage conflicts; and a constant willingness to pursue personal and professional growth
