We are seeking a commercially driven and technically capable First Line Sales Manager / Team Sales Manager to lead and develop a regional sales team. This is a people leadership role focused on driving sales performance, coaching Territory Sellers, and supporting strategic customer engagement across the region.

The successful candidate will combine strong sales leadership experience with technical understanding, enabling them to effectively support customer discussions, guide complex sales opportunities, and build high-performing teams that consistently deliver results.

This role plays a critical part in strengthening customer relationships, growing market presence, and ensuring the team executes winning sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sellers across assigned regions or market segments

Provide day-to-day sales leadership to ensure achievement of revenue, growth, and profitability targets

Support the development and execution of robust sales strategies designed to consistently win business opportunities

Mentor and guide team members in customer engagement, opportunity management, and sales execution

Participate in high-opportunity customer pursuits and strategic sales discussions when required

Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to support long-term business growth

Ensure pricing strategies and customer discounting align with defined margin and EBITDA objectives

Identify market trends, customer needs, and commercial opportunities to strengthen competitive positioning

Collaborate closely with Technical Specialists to improve alignment between sales and technical support functions

Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture

Monitor team performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives where necessary

Required skills and qualifications:

Proven experience in a sales leadership or first-line sales management role

Strong background in technical sales or experience working within a technically focused industry, ideally with HVAC, refrigeration, industrial, or engineering-related markets

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop successful sales teams

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pricing and margin expectations

Ability to engage confidently with customers at both commercial and technical levels

Experience supporting complex or strategic sales pursuits

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on team development and business growth

Preferred skills and qualifications:

Experience leading regional or territory-based sales teams

Experience working within a matrix or multinational organization

Strong understanding of sales performance management and pipeline development

Experience implementing sales process improvements and strategic account planning

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technical, or related discipline preferred
