Joinery Draftsman - ( Required Portfolio)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate shop drawings, production drawings, and detailed joinery designs for residential, commercial, and fit-out projects while coordinating with designers, engineers, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings and production drawings.
• Develop furniture, cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and other custom woodwork drawings.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into fabrication-ready drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists.
• Revise drawings based on client comments and site conditions.
• Support the production team with technical information during manufacturing and installation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3**–6 years** of experience in joinery or interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience with SketchUp, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, woodworking materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of UAE joinery standards is an advantage.
