Interior Fit-Out MEP Engineer

Salary: AED 7,000 – AED 8,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Description

A leading Interior Fit-Out Company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Interior Fit-Out MEP Engineer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE interior fit-out projects and be capable of managing and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works from planning through project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute all MEP works for interior fit-out projects.
• Review architectural, structural, and interior drawings to ensure proper MEP coordination and identify design clashes.
• Coordinate with MEP draftsmen to prepare and finalize shop drawings, builders' work drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Manage HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV installations.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and project teams to obtain approvals for drawings, technical submissions, and material submittals.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, subcontractors, and material availability to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, inspection reports, and site records.
• Coordinate effectively with civil, architectural, and joinery teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit-Out MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems.
• Experience in commercial offices, retail, hospitality, F&B, and luxury interior fit-out projects.
• Sound knowledge of UAE building codes and local authority regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project planning software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
