Order Processor
Location: Zoetermeer, The Netherlands – Europe Distribution Center (EDC)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Topcon Europe Positioning B.V., in the Netherlands, is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented ORDER PROCESSOR
🔍 Job Overview
The Order Processor is responsible for managing the complete order processing cycle for international customers, from order intake through delivery.
This role ensures accurate order entry, pricing verification, coordination with internal departments, and timely communication with customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, product availability, and backorders.
The position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through accurate administration, proactive communication, and efficient coordination across teams
Core Job Duties:

Order Processing & Coordination
-
Process customer orders from intake through delivery for international customers.

Review orders for pricing accuracy, quantities, product availability, and completeness.

Enter and maintain order information within the ERP system (SAP).

Coordinate order status, shipment dates, pricing, and backorders with internal departments.

Distribute order information to relevant departments to ensure timely fulfillment.

Maintain customer files and related documentation.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of all orders while meeting internal quality standards.

Customer Communication & Support
-
Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding order status, deliveries, pricing, and product availability.

Provide relevant order-related information to customers.

Record customer communication and updates in the system to ensure traceability and transparency.

Maintain a customer-focused approach and provide professional service at all times.

Team Collaboration & Operational Support
-
Collaborate closely within the Order Processing team to achieve operational targets and on-time delivery objectives.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Contribute to a positive team environment with a proactive and hands-on attitude.

Maintain effective collaboration with Logistics, Sales, and Purchasing to support seamless operations
Minimum Requirements for job:
-
Minimum MBO level (4) education or equivalent.
-
Additional administrative or logistics training is considered a plus.

2 – 3 years of relevant experience in the same or a similar role
Technical / Professional Skills
-
Experience in a similar order processing, customer service, or administrative role.

Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Strong administrative and organizational skills.
-
Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently.
-
Good understanding of order management and customer service processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.

Strong customer-oriented mindset.

Ability to work under pressure while effectively prioritizing tasks.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities.
