BIM Modeler

Do you know Basic-Fit opens the most gyms in Europe per year? We are growing fast with about 100 new clubs per year, and we are therefore looking for someone to join our internal construction team to handle this rapid expansion and who wants to grow along with our beautiful company. This is how your role will look like: 

As a BIM Modeler, you will be part of our BIM team within the property department. 

You will be responsible for the digitalization of the construction operations including the asset management for all 2,200+ clubs located in the 6 countries where Basic-Fit operates. In doing so, you will also speak directly to the construction partners and suppliers BIM department and support them during the digitalization process. 

 

With your experience and knowledge, you will help us to fulfil the Basic-Fit expansion goals and make the construction of our clubs more cost efficient. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

Supporting Basic-Fit-Security in implementing the Remote surveillance programme (24/7 system) 

Creating Remote Surveillance plans for new or existing locations 

Making Audio plans using drawing/calculation tool 

Supporting Basic-Fit Security with data from the 3D models 

Using your knowledge and experience, make proposals for integrating the BIM environment within Basic-Fit Security, alternative working methods and contribute ideas on increasing efficiency, economies of scale and reducing failure costs 

Creating 3D models for potential new locations and existing one 

Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet our needs and comply with regulations 

Creating clash detection report to minimize site construction risks 

Review designs for potential issues or conflicts and work with the team to find solutions 

Participate in project meetings and provide updates on the progress of the design 

 

In this role, you will report directly to our BIM Manager. You will also work closely with our Remote Surveillance Programme Manager, Construction Engineers and Architects. You will be the link, together with the BIM Manager, between Basic-Fit Property and Basic-Fit Security regarding the Remote Surveillance programme.

Qualifications & Skills 

You have a higher professional education degree in architecture, construction engineering or a comparable study; 

Experience modelling with point cloud 

You have strong analytical skills; 

You are able to have a good and clear communication, with the internal and external teams 

You have knowledge of the MS Office package 

Experience with Revit (MEP is an advantage) 

You speak and write well in English. Communication internally and externally is in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French, German and/or Spanish is of added value. 

Knowledge of Autodesk DOCS and their related products is an advantage 

Knowledge of Smartsheet is an advantage 

Knowledge of Dynamo/Phyton is an advantage

Salary: A monthly gross salary between €2.900 and €3.800 based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and background.
