Job description

Interested in a career that matters? As a Process Engineer DSP– Recovery Operations HMO, you will provide technical leadership and process support for downstream recovery operations across HMO manufacturing sites, including both internal production facilities and external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Acting as a key technical interface between Process Development, Product Management, and manufacturing partners, you will drive process excellence, support operational improvements, and ensure reliable, high-quality production while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Europe.

 

The Role & Your Impact:

Provide technical support and expertise for downstream recovery processes across internal manufacturing sites and CMOs.

Serve as the primary technical contact for CMOs, ensuring effective collaboration and process alignment.

Act as the interface between Process Development, Product Management, and manufacturing operations to support technology transfer and process optimization.

Support HMO production facilities by troubleshooting technical issues and driving continuous process improvements.

Contribute to cross-functional projects related to process development, manufacturing, and operational excellence.

Provide technical input and support to management on process-related topics and strategic initiatives.

 

What You’ll Need to Be Successful 

Master's degree in Food Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.

Relevant experience in the food, biochemical, or chemical manufacturing industry.

Understanding of downstream processing or recovery operations.

Knowledge of quality, hygiene, and GMP/food production requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Experience in project work and process improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.

Open-minded, proactive, fast learner, and collaborative team player.

Business-level English is required and German is a plus

Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
