Job description
We are looking for a
Risk Analyst - Client Underwriting (m/f/d) (limited contract)
Join our team at our location in Verl or Berlin – flexible working conditions are available
What will be your challenge:
-
Customer credit risk management for our products in the Buy Now Pay Later area across Europe
-
Analysis and risk assessment of our consumer portfolios and their ongoing optimization via customization of business rules on merchant and overall portfolio level
-
Continuous improvement of underlying data analysis and existing business processes to support our product expansion in new areas
-
Collaboration in cross-functional teams working on giant-leap changes in models
-
Consulting Key Account Management regarding risk steering measures to maximize customer value
-
Supporting the development of our risk steering platforms and the data provider management
-
Furthermore, you interact with the BI experts to improve overall monitoring/reporting and the application of advanced analytics
What will help you to succeed in the role:

Academic educational skills - Degree in mathematics, statistics, or business/economics, preferably with a quantitative focus

Eager to collect distinct practical knowledge in the application of methods for credit risk steering of consumer portfolios (scoring, decision engines, machine learning) in an international context
-
Profound analytical/technical understanding and experience in creating individual data analysis (SQL skills required)

Professional experience in the finance industry

You are a team player, flexible and resilient
-
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and German would be a huge benefit
