As a Process Assistant within our Applications Engineering team, you will support innovative semiconductor development projects at imec in Leuven. In this hands-on role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, process development, and cleanroom operations, helping ensure the successful execution of critical testing activities for Entegris’ Liquid Filtration solutions. This unique opportunity is based at imec, one of the world's leading research and innovation hubs for nanoelectronics and digital technologies, where you will collaborate directly with renowned industry experts and research teams while representing Entegris on-site.
In this role you will:

Coordinate project activities with Entegris, imec, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of ongoing programs.

Develop and execute detailed testing plans, supporting chemical filter installation, qualification, and operational activities.

Operate wet clean process equipment and perform chemical dispense testing according to defined procedures.

Utilize advanced metrology tools to inspect and analyze wafers before and after testing.

Collect, analyze, and summarize experimental data, providing clear and actionable reports.

Coordinate sample shipments and logistics between global Entegris sites and local project teams.

Create, update, and maintain laboratory procedures, SOPs, and supporting technical documentation.

Contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing laboratory and cleanroom environment.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Materials Science, or a related technical field.

Experience working with wet clean, lithography, or semiconductor process equipment.

Previous exposure to a semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

A hands-on approach combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

A proactive mindset and willingness to dive into technical challenges.

Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the workday.

Experience handling chemicals safely and following strict operational procedures.

Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required.
