Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 2–5 years of experience in building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and financial control of construction projects to ensure value for money while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for building projects

-Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material and labor costs

-Manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts

-Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and final accounts with contractors and subcontractors

-Monitor project costs and report on financial performance and cost variances

-Assist in tender evaluation and contractor selection

-Prepare interim valuations, progress payments, and cost reports

-Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company procedures, and industry standards

-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams

Support risk assessment and value engineering exercises

-Requirements & Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects

-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost management

-Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software (Plan Swift, Cost, or similar)

-Good understanding of contracts (FIDIC or equivalent)

-Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

Preferred Skills

-Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects

Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
