Job description

How you can make an impact

In this role, you drive the success of Eppendorf’s automation portfolio by guiding customers and sales teams on automated liquid handling solutions and their integration into laboratory workflows. You act as a strategic link between the market and internal teams, helping to shape products, launches, and customer experiences.

  • You act as a key automation consultant to sales, driving pre- and post-sales success and workflow integration

  • You advise customers on automated liquid handling systems (e.g. epMotion  epMotion 5073–5075, epMotion 96 Flex) and deliver demos and trainings.

  • Lead automation product launches and translate customer workflows into applications and product enhancements

  • Gather market and competitive insights to sharpen positioning, win more deals, and support go-to-market activities

  • Attend exhibitions, sponsor events and customer events to showcase automation solutions.

  • You enable and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service & R&D& Service, and partners while maintaining accurate CRM and reporting

What sets you apart

  • You bring a strong background in automation and automated liquid handling, ideally with Pharma/Biotech/CRO/Academia customers, and application laboratory background in life science or similar application field.

  • Have proven experience in technical pre- and post-sales support, demos, and customer training

  • You are skilled in solution-based, workflow-oriented selling and application development

  • Confident communicator and presenter, experienced in cross-functional collaboration

  • Comfortable with CRM tools, data-driven reporting, and a customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset

  • Fluent in English and Dutch. French language skills would also be preferable but not essential.  Knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.

  • You actively listen to customers and colleagues to truly understand their scientific workflows, challenges and goals, enabling you to propose the right automation solutions, tailor demos and trainings, and translate real needs into impactful applications and product improvements.

What we offer

  • Purpose and impact. At Eppendorf, you work on solutions that help improve people’s lives around the world.

  • We value your contribution. A fair, competitive salary plus vacation show that your work truly matters to us.

  • Learning that moves you forward. With the Eppendorf Academy, digital learning platforms, language courses, workshops, community formats, coaching and development programs, you can grow continuously – both professionally and personally.

  • With us, you will find a colorful, cosmopolitan, and appreciative working environment with always up-to-date technologies, methods and tools in an environment that also invites networking.
