Where You’ll Make a Difference

Identify, target and secure new customers and application opportunities across the Non-Food segments in Europe, including Plastics, Personal care and adjacent markets

Drive new business development while managing selected strategic accounts

Build and maintain a strong and accurately forecasted sales pipeline, from lead generation through contract closure

Lead customer meetings and commercial discussions with a strong technical foundation in polymer technologies

Translate customer needs into value driven solution proposals in collaboration with Application, R&D and Product Management teams

Support the commercial introduction and rollout of new innovations

Monitor market trends and competitive movements to uncover new growth opportunities

Ensure accurate opportunity tracking and reporting through CRM systems

What Makes You the Right Fit

Degree in Polymer Technology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Strong technical understanding of polymers/ biopolymers and polymer based applications in commercial settings

Proven experience in technical sales, account management or similar commercial roles within Personal Care ingredients, specialty chemicals, or formulation‑driven industries

A proactive, opportunity oriented commercial mindset with strong relationship building skills

Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and customer-oriented manner

Comfortable working independently across multiple EMEA markets

Self driven and structured approach to managing priorities and customer engagements

Fluent English communication skills, additional European language skills are an advantage

Willingness to travel across the region at least 50% of the time

For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredient business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners.
