Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SEO Web Developer who can manage, optimize, and improve our website performance while implementing effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, search visibility, and user experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical web development skills combined with SEO knowledge and experience in improving website rankings on search engines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize websites for performance and SEO
• Implement SEO recommendations within Squarespace limitations
• Implement technical SEO improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and website structure enhancements
• Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies
• Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Identify and fix technical SEO issues, broken links, indexing problems, and crawl errors
• Improve Core Web Vitals and overall website user experience
• Regularly provide SEO reports and recommendations
• Research and create SEO-focused blog articles aligned with business goals and target audience interests

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing and optimizing Squarespace websites
• Strong understanding of SEO principles (technical SEO, on-page SEO, and local SEO)
• Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar)
• Knowledge of website structure, HTML/CSS basics, and SEO best practices
• Experience improving organic rankings and website traffic
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide measurable results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lead generation websites
• Experience optimizing websites for professional services like immigration or investment industries.
• Knowledge of content strategy and blog SEO optimization
