Expense Planning and Forecasting: o Develop and maintain detailed expense forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regional financial goals. o Assist in the annual budgeting process, focusing on expense-related inputs and assumptions. 2. Cost Analysis and Optimization: o Analyze expense trends and identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining operational efficiency. o Provide actionable recommendations to reduce unnecessary spending and improve resource allocation. 3. Reporting and Financial Insights: o Prepare detailed expense reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for the regional head of FP&A and other stakeholders. o Deliver insights on expense drivers, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making. 4. Collaboration with Business Units: o Partner with functional leaders (e.g., operations, HR, IT) to monitor and manage their expense budgets. o Facilitate discussions to ensure alignment on spending priorities and compliance with financial targets. 5. Expense Governance and Control: o Support the implementation and enforcement of expense policies and guidelines across the region. o Monitor adherence to budgetary controls and flag potential issues or discrepancies. 6. Scenario Modeling and Risk Assessment: o Conduct scenario modeling to assess the financial impact of potential changes in expense-related factors. o Identify and communicate risks associated with variances or unplanned expenses. 7. Support for Regional FP&A Initiatives: o Contribute to broader FP&A projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, or strategic planning. o Act as a subject matter expert for expense management within the regional FP&A team. 8.
