We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our international team. This role requires strong expertise in IFRS/HKFRS reporting, statutory compliance, and financial operations, along with the ability to manage multiple complex projects in a dynamic global environment. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills and close collaboration with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will be to:

Take responsibility for the monthly closing and reporting, and statutory closing of Swiss entities as well as compliance

Bi-yearly closing of statutory books and preparation/review of FS, ICS matrix update

Ensure quality of work performed in the Finance Shared Service Center for the Swiss entities (AP, AR, Treasury, GL, Expenses, VAT, etc.)

Be responsible for proper Transfer Pricing application (%, mark-up, documentation, filling)

Assume responsibility of tax compliance (Income tax, deferred tax, VAT indirectly) according to the rulings and respect deadlines

Review of reconciliations (BS, payroll, DT, VAT, IFRS-Stat, SL-GL, etc.)

Be involved in all projects affecting accounting (merge, acquisition of subsidiaries, acquisition of assets, sale of building, new loans, legal issues, new WHS)

Cooperate with external and internal auditors

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Participate in budget forecasting – sending monthly CC reports, providing comments on variances, responsible for allocation keys definition and calculation as well as update and communicate with BU controllers

Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders, cooperate closely with other departments within organization

Our requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Having Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification

In-depth understanding of IFRS and HKFRS, including financial reporting and statutory compliance requirements

Ideally more than 6 years of experience in similar positions in industrial, international environment with ERP system

Experience in working with Oracle ERP system would be considered as advantage

Proficiency in English is mandatory; French or German language skills would be considered an advantage

Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously

Analytical and data-driven mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure with stress resilient mindset

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across international teams

Open to occasional travel within Europe
