Mechanical Engineer – MEP / Pump Station Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team for MEP and pump station projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Prepare as-built drawings, operation manuals, and project close-out documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications, and applicable mechanical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP, pump station, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, piping systems, valves, pressure vessels, HVAC systems, firefighting systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with pump station equipment, water distribution, wastewater systems, and utility infrastructure is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering software.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international mechanical standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• Pump Stations, Water Distribution Networks, Wastewater Infrastructure, Utility, or Industrial Projects.
• Experience working on projects for TAQA, ADDC, AADC, DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, or ADNOC is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical equipment in utility and infrastructure projects.
