Rail Force One Germany, based in Duisburg, specializes in freight transport with our reliable train drivers and high-performance trains, ensuring that cargo arrives safely at its destination.

 

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor Operations to join our team. In this responsible position, together with your team, you ensure the safe execution of operational planning and guarantee that our transports are carried out reliably and efficiently. Our focus is on operating safely and to a high standard around the clock.

Your responsibilities:

Together with another Supervisor Operations, you lead and coach a team of approximately 15 employees within rail operations

You ensure the safe operational implementation, execution, and monitoring of transport planning

You are responsible for the entire operational process from order intake to the execution of transports

You work closely with dispatching as well as internal and external departments

You manage, monitor, and optimize operational processes and ensure smooth railway operations

You coordinate solutions in the event of operational disruptions or extraordinary incidents and act proactively whenever deviations or problems occur

You actively support your team in daily operations and provide stability and structure, even in hectic situations

You plan training sessions and continuously develop the competencies of your employees

You create and adjust duty rosters and review monthly time tracking records

You ensure compliance with all safety regulations, operational requirements, and the safety management system

You analyze operational KPIs, prepare reports, and maintain operational administration

You actively contribute to the further development and expansion of operational activities

Requirements: Your profile:

You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the railway sector; knowledge of the RAILCUBE system is an advantage

You have excellent German language skills (C1) as well as good English skills (B1)

You possess a strong process-oriented mindset

You work analytically, solution-oriented, and customer-focused

You can quickly switch between different situations and maintain an overview even under pressure

You think across departments and act responsibly

You have a coaching leadership style and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others

You are flexible, accurate, and a true team player
