About the job
You will support HR activities to create a great work environment at the store. You will help implement people initiatives, provide co-worker support, and drive HR excellence and continuous process improvement.
Your assignment

Promote IKEA’s culture through upholding and modelling IKEA’s values in all HR activities, creating a positive and inclusive workplace.

Assist in recruitment efforts by supporting the hiring process and new hire onboarding, including issuing employee items and coordinating onboarding sessions.

Provide support to learning and development activities, including onboarding and training sessions.

Contribute to employee engagement activities, HR improvement projects and new initiatives.

Provide general administrative support, including preparing HR documentation, maintaining personnel files.

Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Your profile

You are studying or hold a qualification in Human Resources Management.

You have good interpersonal skills and confidently interact with people at all levels, including managing conflict.

You are proactive and take initiative in your tasks and responsibilities.

You are a committed team player and can also work independently.

You demonstrate high integrity and attention to detail in your work.

You can support HR operations during weekends and public holidays as needed.

You are able to assist with business operations during peak periods.

You are able to commit to the role for a duration of 6 months.
