Job description

Align strategy with execution. Empower our teams to thrive – so our tracking technology can keep protecting skies across the world.

As our HR Business Partner, you balance long-term organizational planning with active, hands-on execution. You work side-by-side with business leaders to translate corporate goals into clear, department-specific people strategies. Operating within a small, high-trust HR team, you play a vital role in building frameworks from scratch and driving collective success. You report to our Head of HR, helping shape a healthy, scalable culture where everyone can grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategic business partnering: Translate company strategy into practical, department-specific HR initiatives. Coach leaders on team structures to support our rapid organizational growth.

  • Framework design and building: Build new internal talent management and development frameworks from the ground up. Continuous improvement is key – you design tools that elevate overall team capability.

  • Workforce planning and budgeting: Lead regular workforce planning sessions with business heads. Synthesize headcount modeling to optimize resource allocation and keep personnel budgets on track.

  • Performance and employee relations: Drive a healthy performance culture across our teams. Advise management on performance optimization and handle complex, high-risk employee relations with absolute care.

  • Total rewards and data analytics: Guide leadership on compensation and benefits strategies to stay competitive. Leverage HR system insights and data analytics to diagnose organizational health.

  • Team collaboration and synergy: Work closely with fellow HR Business Partners to share knowledge. Foster an environment of mutual trust, transparency, and shared ownership across the department.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • BA or Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a tech or fast-growth environment

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch Labour Law and familiarity with US employment legislation

  • Professional fluency in English, written and spoken. Speaking Dutch is a major asset here.

  • Strong coaching skills, balancing personal empathy with clear professional firmness

  • Pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys building new processes and structures from scratch

  • High autonomy with a proactive, down-to-earth, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset

  • Team-first approach – you value transparency, psychological safety, and collective wins

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup, spending a minimum of three days at our office

N.B. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. Our mission is a journey, and there's plenty to learn along the way. If most of this fits, we'd love to hear from you.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process. We appreciate your understanding.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Working for a Great Place to Work® certified company;

  • Comprehensive pension plan;

  • Commuting allowance;

  • 30 days of paid holiday leave (with the possibility to buy 3 additional days);

  • Opportunities to develop your skills even further through training and certifications;

  • High quality laptop/desktop, monitor, headphones, and any other equipment necessary for your role;

  • An international team of 30+ nationalities, full of high performance colleagues you can exchange experiences with and learn from. As well as having a lot of fun in our social events and Friday drinks!
