Painter- FM

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled painter to perform a variety of tasks, including painting walls, wooden surfaces, steel structures, and other materials. The ideal candidate will prepare surfaces, apply paint and finish using brushes, rollers, and sprayers, and ensure high-quality results. They will also handle touch-ups, mix colors, and maintain tools and materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, safety adherence, and the ability to work efficiently in both interior and exterior environments. Flexibility to assist with other tasks as needed is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prime surfaces before painting, ensuring smooth and even coverage.

·         Painting & Finishing: Apply paint, varnish, and finishes to walls, wooden surfaces, steel structures, and other materials using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

·         Color Matching: Mix paints to achieve the required color and finish, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

·         Touch-ups & Maintenance: Perform touch-ups and maintenance on painted surfaces, addressing chips, scratches, and wear.

·         Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals and tools.

·         Tool & Material Management: Maintain tools, equipment, and paint inventory. Clean and store them properly after use.

·         Quality Control: Ensure high-quality workmanship by inspecting finished areas for any defects or imperfections.

·         Additional Tasks: Provide support for other teams as needed, including material shifting, cleaning tasks, and other maintenance duties based on work conditions.

Requirements: Additional Requirements:

·         Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.

·         Ability to work with a variety of materials including wood, steel, and drywall.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure a high standard of finish.

·         Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

·         Knowledge of safety regulations and proper handling of tools and chemicals.

·         Flexible and adaptable to assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
