Senior Manager Financial Processes (m/w/d)

Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in close collaboration with the RTL Shared Service Center.

Review accounting records, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.

Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual audits across multiple legal entities.

Act as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders on accounting and financial process topics.

Drive continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes, ensuring efficient and scalable workflows.

Support the implementation and optimization of internal controls and governance standards.

Monitor and analyse financial data, identifying risks, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.

Collaborate closely with Controlling, HR, Legal and operational teams on finance-related matters.

Support finance transformation initiatives and contribute to process automation projects.

Work with SAP S/4HANA and other finance systems to improve data quality, reporting and operational efficiency.

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.

3–7 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance operations or financial process management.

Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.

Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Experience working with auditors and preparing audit documentation.

Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style.

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).

Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting or finance processes.
